John F. Karr is a longtime disseminator of cockology, as a guest lecturer on Human Sexuality at San Francisco State University, a co-founder of SF JACKS, and reviewer of erotic films. His popular Karrnal Knowledge column of reviews has been appearing in San Francisco's Bay Area Reporter since 1978, and reviews and associated articles have also appeared in the Advocate, the New York Native, Drummer, the Alternate, Manifest Reader, and the Swedish daily Tageblatt. He was the founding editor of the BAR's Entertainment and Arts section. A noted sound designer, his theatrical career also includes the creation of numerous musicals and cabaret entertainments, as well as his current occupation as a dresser.
