Patrick Bowsher has been passionately making music since the age of 5. He has studied at Boston's Berklee College of Music (4 year scholarship recipient), London's School of Audio Engineering, the University of Cape Town's College of Music, and the Cape Town Film and Video School.

He works as a freelance composer and sound designer and is associate music & audio specialist to the Film Arts Foundation in San Francisco (the city's nerve center for indie film production), while pursuing performance opportunities in jazz, classical and other genres. Hhe has composed and orchestrated scores in the areas of film, TV, and dance for full orchestra, big band, choir and a variety of eclectic ensembles in addition to synthesized and sample-based works.

He has performed concerto works, chamber music and jazz around the world. He holds dual degrees in composition and performance.
